To see and manage your ILL requests, as well as to create a manual request, you'll need to sign into your Library account using your MySLC username and password.
To do that, go to the Library's Homepage, click on Library Account Login and enter your information.
How do I check the status of my ILL request?
When you're signed into your Library account, navigate to the "Requests" tab to easily check the status of pending ILL requests, as well as view your previously completed or cancelled ILL requests. You may create a request manually via this tab also. Items in this tab are ordered chronologically by request date, and cannot be otherwise sorted.
The "Requests" tab also lists all SLC items you have on hold, including recalled items and Suggested Purchases.
If you only want to see items you currently have checked out, including both ILL and SLC items, you can navigate to the "Checked Out" tab. Here, you can find due dates and you have the option to renew items.
This list can be sorted chronologically by due date or alphabetically by title.
Need that ILL item a little longer?
You can renew your items by logging in to your Library account, selecting the box next to the item(s) you wish to renew, and clicking renew.
You may need to wait a few days until the lending library replies with a new due date (keep in mind whether or not your item will be renewed is up to the lending library). You will receive an email notification letting you know whether or not the lending library has renewed the item. If so, there will be a new due date in the email notification. The due date will also be updated on your list of ILL requests.
If you receive a notification that your renewal request has been denied, please place another ILL request for the item and we will get another copy from another library. You can do this by searching the catalogue for that item and submitting a new request, or by simply selecting "Request Again" next to the item you are looking for. This option is only available on items requested via ILL, and not on items owned by SLC.
