This is the Singer | Start sewing machine. It's easy to use and perfect for beginners and experienced alike.
Remember to take your time. If a step doesn't make sense, just take a moment to study the machine and reread the description.
1 - Place the spool on the spool holder
2 - Thread through the loop near the spool (follow the arrows through this process)
3 - slide the thread through this metal loop
4 - slide the thread down through this opening
5 - bring the thread up on the other side of the plastic, in the groove (again, follow the arrows)
6 - bring the thread up to loop through the metal hook
7 - bring thread down through the metal loop above the needle
9 - bring thread through the eye of the needle - pull so you have a little excess thread
You just threaded the top stitch! Congrats! Now let's thread the bobbin...
1 - remove the plastic cover - pull to the left
3 - open plastic door to the access the bobbin
4 - the bobbin is indie the circular metal gear - pull on the metal clip, toward you, to remove
5 - put the bobbin inside the clip
6 - pull the thread through the indentation in the bobbin
7 - thread the bobbin so the thread looks like this
8 - put the gear with the bobbin back in place (align the hook with the indentation above the bobbin)
9 - secure the top thread on the plastic hook on the left side of the machine (alternatively, hold the thread to the left, giving it some tension)
10 - Use the dial on the right to drop the needle down into the machine
11 - pull the top thread so that it raises the bobbin thread through the hole of the plate
12 - bring both threads back, with some excess
You just threaded the sewing machine! Congrats! Now get sewing!

To get the sewing machine to work first turn it on - the on/off button is on the back of the machine just below the fan
Next, notice the pedal on the ground below the machine
Press this gently to get the needle to sew - apply more pressure to make it sew faster
Before you start sewing make sure the foot is pressed firmly down on your fabric.
Here's what it looks like in the starting position - up with no fabric
Insert your fabric
Lower the foot using the lever on the back of the machine
The foot is down when the lever is down - now you're ready to sew
