2022 U.S. Transgender Survey (USTS)With almost 28,000 respondents, this is the "...largest survey ever devoted to the lives and experiences of trans people."
GSS Data Explorer, NORCThe General Social Survey (GSS), searchable through the Data Explorer from NORC at the University of Chicago, dates back to 1972 and provides information about social change in American society. Search the Data Explorer for "gay" and "lesbian" to find data.

National Transgender Discrimination SurveyThis survey was released in 2011 by the NCTE and the National LGBTQ Task Force. It includes interviews with over 6,400 transgender and gender non-conforming people, which makes it the largest survey of its kind ever completed.

WHO: Gender and GeneticsFrom the World Health Organization's Genomic Resource Centre, this online guide outlines the genetic components of sex and gender, including sex chromosome abnormalities and sexual ambiguity.
National Institutes of Health Sexual and Gender Minority Research OfficeNIH knowledge base of sexual and gender minority health and well-being related research. Database includes "lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender populations as well as those whose sexual orientation, gender identity and expressions, or reproductive development varies from traditional, societal, cultural, or physiological norms."
